Welcome to the world, little Miss Trinity!!
This little girl was baby number 6 for this Mama, and we all expected her labor to go rather quickly.
She attempted some natural induction methods on Monday, November 7th, but no
labor followed. So, on Tuesday November 8th, she opted for a medical induction.
I joined them as their photographer around 11am that day after the pitocin
was being ramped up. It took a few hours before Charity began to feel the contractions more though.
Mid-afternoon Charity was finally 6cm and opted to have her water broken by her midwife team
to hopefully help speed things up. And boy, did this intervention intensify things for this sweet Mama!
Her midwives got the pool ready for comfort measures, and some time was spent in there
until the monitors couldn’t read baby any longer. Around this same time though,
(having pushed through so many more hours of intense labor than anticipated),
Charity decided she was just ready for epidural relief.
So, after getting her epidural, we all left her to get some much needed rest.
Charity, her husband, and her nurse worked hard through the night —
resting and repositioning to keep things progressing. Things continued to progress
more slowly than expected for a 6th baby though.
Suddenly, around 3:30am, Charity could feel the baby coming. Her midwives were notified,
and the 3 of us headed downstairs to Charity’s labor room as quickly as possible…
Arriving to a room filled with sweet baby cries!
Baby Trinity was born into her Mommy’s arms at 3:33am on Wednesday, November 9th.
She decided she was ready to be born, and came in a hurry…waiting for no one.
I can’t wait to see where life takes this sweet little girl of theirs!
They are amazing parents, and she has a home full of big brothers & sisters who love her very much!
So, without further ado….Enjoy this sweet video/photo sneak peek of her birth story….
