I cannot tell you how excited I was that this day was finally here! 

We have been anxiously awaiting the birth of our 2nd child (and second boy) for 10 long months now,
and on March 9th, via scheduled c-section, our blessed baby boy came
roaring into the world, letting everyone know he had arrived!

Samuel Anderson Huckaby was born March 9, 2021 @ 7:50am….8lb 9oz, 21 inches long!
We have been so over-the-moon excited for March to arrive, and to meet this little guy!
He looks almost identical to his big brother, Riley at birth.
He has definitely been worth all of the money, the injections, the hormones, the sickness, the stress,
the medical bills, and the long long wait to have him here!!!

I get a lot of questions about what a Fresh 48 session looks like, and what it entails.
Basically it is an in-hospital (or birth center) session, within the first 48 hours or so of baby’s life.
It is a lifestyle-type session (not posed)…mainly of baby, but can also include mom/dad/siblings if desired.
The purpose is to capture those first little details of baby as a FRESH newborn.
The umbilical stump, the wrinkles, the squinty fresh-faced eyes, the chubby cheeks, the hospital tags, etc.
Babies change SO much in the first week of life…you won’t regret having these first moments documented!!!
